I went from the Escort rubber suction mount to the BlendMount. The mount is made of a high grade aluminum that provides a rigid holder for my Escort Redline detector. Installation was easy. If you have an Escort Dash Cam you will need to order the longer screws to mount the camera to the mount....

I only have the windshield mount to compare it to but it's 100x better. Looks better, I was able to position it where I wanted, can use a sun shade again. Rock solid, etc. I couldn't be any happier. Just get it.
